- Queer Foundation
- Mission – The Queer Foundation, in existence from 2005 through 2019, was a nonprofit organization incorporated in the state of Washington. It was dedicated to improving educational opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth. Support came from numerous individuals who gave of their time and money to make possible the Effective Writing and Scholarships Program. Through this program hundreds of high school seniors from all regions of the United States as well as abroad were recognized for their writing on queer-studies topics. Many received scholarships to help with tuition and fees in queer studies or related fields at the U.S. college or university of their choice.
