UW Botanic Gardens Rare Care Program

Mission: Generate information on the status of rare native plant populations and their habitat. Volunteers monitor populations on public lands across Washington State and document the location and size of the populations, the characteristics and quality of their habitat, and threats to the populations such as invasive species and human activities.
