WACAP is a resource hub for a network of child advocacy organizations that provide children facing abuse or neglect with volunteer representatives. These representatives ensure that children have a voice throughout the court process. The organization aims to inform the public about their work and to offer an accessible way for people to connect with their local child advocacy programs.

Our team helped WACAP revamp their website to better showcase their impactful work. The updated website now highlights the various programs in their network, providing a clear and appealing presentation. A new volunteer page was created, outlining the expectations and requirements for volunteers, making it easier for individuals to get involved. We also updated the AmeriCorps page to reflect the critical role AmeriCorps members play in recruiting volunteer child advocates. While a portal for AmeriCorps members to manage contracts and timesheets is a future goal, this round’s work laid the groundwork for this future development. Additionally, we implemented a volunteer management system, allowing WACAP to track volunteer information and streamline workflows for background checks and training.
